Payments

• Lessons will be prepaid on a monthly basis, and due on the first of the month.
• Lessons will be paid via credit card on file to autopay on the first of the month. You can change your card on file anytime in-person, over the phone, or online through your student portal.
• Excused absences will result in a credit of 1 lesson reduced on your following monthly payment.

Cancelations

<aside> ✅ Excused absence Makeup lesson will be given

• Day-before or earlier notice.
• Snow days or other weather related days which result in unsafe travel to Modern Day Music.

<aside> 🚫 Unexcused absence Makeup lessons unavailable

• Same-day cancellations.
• No calls/no shows.

<aside> 🎵 Instructor absence Lesson is not billable

</aside>

• If you teacher cancels a lesson for any reason, you will receive a credit on your next invoice for that missed lesson.

Late arrivals

• Arriving late for a lesson results in a shorter lesson and is billed regularly

Makeup lessons

• Any missed lesson with an excused absence is eligible for a makeup lesson and rescheduled to another day/time available to both student and instructor.
• Any missed lesson can be remotely recorded by your instructor and sent to your My Music Staff portal for the student to watch and practice to on their own time.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Note: Same-day cancellations applies for sick days. If a student is out-sick from school, please convert your lesson to an online recorded lesson or an unexcused absence.
